First Against Tthe Wall

Japan attacks Pearl Harbor! U.S. declares war of Bolivia!

Am I missing something, or has this whole war thing gotten a lot more complicated over the last sixty or so years. On December 7, 1941, a bunch of Japanese guys in airplanes attacked a rather remote American outpost in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so naturally we declared war on Japan. On September 11, 2001, a bunch of Saudi Arabian guys in airplanes attacked major targets within the continental United States, so naturally we declared war on Iraq and Afghanistan.

Time was, the quickest and most efficient way to resolve a conflict was to "dance with the one who brung it," so to speak. So, what has changed?

I vividly recall that immediately following the attacks of September 11th, George Bush vowed to sweep through the world like an avenging angel taking out not only the terrorists, but also, anyone who supported them. This was, of course, before it was widely known that Osama bin Laden and fifteen of the nineteen terrorists were from Saudi Arabia.

Note: If there's any doubt in your mind as to the cozy relationship between the Bush family and the Saudis, do an Internet search for articles like "Bush Family's Dirty Little Secret" by Rick Wiles and "The Bush-Saudi Connection" by Michelle Mairesse. If you want to argue the point, argue with the ones holding the evidence. 'Nuff said?

Whacking the Saudis would certainly be the most logical thing to do. Nuke Riyadh, and you get not only the perpetrators, but also, the guys who are funding Islamic terrorism.

I'm not even saying that we should stop cavorting through third-world Islam like Crusaders on crack. I'm just saying that we should off a few (thousand) rich guys, too. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting rather tired of seeing umpteen-billion dollars worth of high tech weaponry demonstrated on mud huts. I want to see real-time footage of one of those smart thingies sailing through the front door of the Saudi Royal Palace. Come'on George, let's find out if rich people look the same turned inside out as poor people do. Besides, think of all the free oil we're gonna get after we turned Mecca into a theme park.
